Joanne Durham is the author of To Drink from a Wider Bowl, winner of the Sinclair Poetry Prize, published by Evening Street Press in 2022, and On Shifting Shoals, from Kelsay Books, 2023. She won the 2023 Third Wednesday Poetry Contest, and the North Carolina Poetry Society’s Mary Ruffin Poole Award, and has been a finalist or semifinalist in numerous other poetry contests. Her poems appear in dozens of journals and anthologies across the US and other English speaking countries, including Poetry East, Dodging the Rain, Writers Resist, and a Pushcart nomination from Poetry South.
